Myron Lewyckyj, MD
Dr. Lewyckyj graduated from Northwestern Honors Medical Program at Northwestern
University where he completed his Ophthalmology residency. Dr. Lewyckyj
also teaches cataract surgical techniques at Northwestern University.
He participates in resident education at Indiana University Medical School
Northwest, lecturing on neurophthalmology and providing training in the
physical diagnosis of the eye. He is a member of the American and Indiana
Academies of Ophthalmology and is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
He has been in practice since 1992 and has performed over 10,000 cataract
procedures. Besides comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract surgery,
he specializes in corneal diseases, corneal transplantation, and LASIK
vision correction. He has presented papers at major international ophthalmology
eye conferences detailing novel modifications of cataract surgical techniques.
Dr. Lewyckyj also participates in mission trips to the Ukraine and other
countries which include performing charitable surgical procedures and
physician education in other parts of the world.
